Job Application: Senior Accountant (International Operations) Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to manage our international financial activities and oversee our expanding operations in Brazil. This role is unique, requiring a candidate who possesses both technical expertise in accounting and the linguistic/cultural fluency to supervise international teams. Speaking Portugese is a requirement as well as having a minimum of five years accounting experience. Key Responsibilities Financial Oversight: Supervise full-cycle accounting, including month-end closing, financial reporting, and tax compliance. International Supervision: Travel to Brazil for approximately six weeks per year (scheduled non-contiguously) to audit local operations, supervise accounting staff, check inventory and ensure proper labeling of products , and ensure alignment with corporate standards. Linguistic Integration: Act as the primary liaison between the U.S. headquarters and Brazilian subsidiaries, translating complex financial data and operational needs. Operational Audit: Evaluate internal controls and operational efficiency within the Brazilian branch to mitigate risk and improve profitability. #J-18808-Ljbffr Coda Search│Staffing
