Work Environment

Located in the heart of Alexandria, our clinic offers a welcoming and state-of-the-art atmosphere, designed to maximize patient comfort and recovery. We foster a collaborative environment where practitioners work closely with one another and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life setup

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized physical therapy services to a diverse patient demographic, ensuring each individual's unique goals and needs are effectively addressed.
• Maintain a balanced caseload, enabling you to devote adequate time and attention to each patient, fostering meaningful therapeutic relationships.
• Administer evidence-based treatment methods that effectively promote improved mobility and functional outcomes.
• Design and implement tailored care plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy and tailored exercise programs.
• Encourage non-surgical alternatives and promote a healthy lifestyle to enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination among patients.
• Consistently monitor and evaluate treatment progress, making adjustments as needed to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care and address the varying needs of patients.
• Accurately document patient interactions and treatment decisions using electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically Web PT.

The patient population at our outpatient clinic is diverse, comprising individuals across various age groups and backgrounds who seek rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and post-recovery physical therapy. We emphasize patient-centric care, focusing on enhancing mobility and life quality through personalized rehabilitation approaches.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, maintaining an impeccable record free from sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exceptional skill in a range of manual therapy techniques, demonstrating proficiency that aligns with current best practices.
• Strong background in developing and implementing successful and effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient requirements.
• Proficient with EMR systems to ensure precise and efficient clinical documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient setting, particularly with orthopedic and sports rehabilitation.
• Knowledge of contemporary clinical methodologies and research supporting effective physical therapy interventions.
• A record of collaborative practice within a multidisciplinary healthcare framework, ensuring comprehensive patient feedback and care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our benefit package includes health insurance, retirement plans, and continuous professional development opportunities.
