Advanced Analytics Analyst
Location: Virtual Minnesota 55448 Duration: 12 Months Pay rate: $50.00 - $55.00/HR. on W2
Top Requirements (Must Have)
- Strong Power BI development experience (dashboards, reports, data models)
- Experience with data modeling (star schema / dimensional modeling)
- Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M)
- Working knowledge of SQL (Snowflake preferred)
- Experience with Git/version control
- Bachelor's + 2+ years (or Master's + 0 years)
Core Responsibilities
- Build, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards & semantic models
- Define and standardize KPIs/metrics with stakeholders
- Develop scalable data models & datasets
- Optimize performance (DAX tuning, query performance, refresh issues)
- Support reporting operations, troubleshooting, and data validation
- Collaborate in Agile/team environment (sprints, backlog, reviews)
Nice to Have
- Experience in medical device / regulated environment
- Familiarity with Snowflake, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Knowledge of RLS (Row-Level Security) and secure data design
- Strong stakeholder communication and requirements translation skills
