As an Unarmed Security Officer at a busy retail distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.92 / Hour Job Schedule Wed 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM Thur 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM Fri 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM Sat 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the distribution facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report concerns. Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and drivers in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel. Maintain accurate daily activity reports and communicate security-related information, policy concerns, and maintenance issues to site leadership. Minimum Requirements At least 2 years of security-related experience is required. A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
