As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol in Tracy, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a busy retail distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a retail distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including the building exterior, parking areas, perimeter, and loading dock areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Possession of a state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
