Sonographer – Evening Shift (Silverdale, WA)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sonographer to join a busy Ultrasound department on the evening shift. This is a 13-week contract opportunity with the potential to extend, offering a great environment for a skilled sonographer looking for their next assignment in the Pacific Northwest.

Shift Details

• Shift: Evenings, Wednesday–Sunday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Shift Length: 8 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• Duration: 13 weeks

Unit Information

• Unit Type: Ultrasound

• Charting System: EPIC / SECTRA PACS
• Equipment: 6 GE Logiq E10 ultrasound machines (4 rooms), 1 Parks Medical Doppler
• Volume: Approximately 6–8 exams per 8-hour shift
• Studies Performed: Routine/general ultrasound exams, OB, and vascular studies (Carotid, DVT, ABI/TBI)
• Radiologist Coverage: On-site 24/7
• Supervision: Department Supervisor and Lead Sonographer
• Float Requirement: None — no floating to other departments

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of sonography experience
• Vascular experience strongly preferred (Carotid, DVT, ABI/TBI studies)
• Must be comfortable with high-volume general and OB imaging

Required Certifications

• BLS Certification
• ARDMS Certification
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer – OB/GYN (RDMS-OB/GYN) via ARDMS
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) via ARDMS
