RN Charge Nurse

Facility: Chateau Rehabilitation and Nursing Center Position: RN Charge Nurse Location: Rochelle Park, NJ Shift: Full-Time | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM Salary: Up to $110,000 Job Description Chateau Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced RN Charge Nurse to provide clinical leadership and oversight on the overnight shift. This role is ideal for a strong RN leader who can manage staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver high-quality resident care in a fast‑paced skilled nursing environment. Responsibilities Supervise and lead nursing staff, including CNAs, ensuring quality care and adherence to policies Oversee daily clinical operations, including medication administration and treatments Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians, families, and leadership Ensure accurate charting, documentation, and compliance with state and federal regulations Participate in admissions, discharges, and care planning processes Conduct rounds to ensure nursing standards and resident needs are met Support Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including MDS, Social Services, and Dietary Respond to emergencies and provide direct patient care as needed Requirements Current, active RN license in New Jersey Prior leadership or Charge Nurse experience in long‑term care preferred Strong clinical, organizational, and decision‑making skills Ability to supervise staff and manage a unit independently Excellent communication and leadership abilities Benefits Medical & Dental Insurance Generous PTO 401(k) Retirement Plan Employee Recognition Programs Supportive team environment Apply today to join a team that values strong leadership, clinical excellence, and quality resident care. #J-18808-Ljbffr Excelsior Care Group
