The Charge RN will lead and oversee the daily operations of nursing units, ensuring optimal patient care and effective teamwork among staff. Responsibilities include coordinating patient care activities, supervising nursing staff, monitoring compliance with clinical protocols, and addressing patient and family needs to provide exceptional care. The Charge RN serves as a key liaison between healthcare providers, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Qualifications Proficiency in patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing services Leadership and team management skills to supervise nursing staff and coordinate workflows Knowledge of clinical protocols, safety regulations, and healthcare compliance standards Strong problem-solving abilities and effective decision‑making skills in high‑pressure situations Competence in maintaining patient records and utilizing electronic health systems Effective written and verbal communication skills for interactions with medical staff, patients, and families Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required Previous experience in a charge nurse or supervisory role in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Valley Health System
