Executive Director - Education Center

Monroe-Woodbury Central School District is committed to academic achievement and success for all students in a safe environment. This role provides the strategic leadership and operational oversight necessary to integrate professional growth with data-driven accountability systems. The central mission is to establish a rigorous, evidence-based framework that utilizes longitudinal data to inform continuous school improvement, close achievement gaps, and ensure systemic alignment with the District's overarching goals.

Qualifications:

• New York State School District Leader (SDL), School District Administrator (SDA), or School District Business Leader (SDBL) certification
• Demonstrated leadership experience in strategic planning, curriculum and instruction, professional development, and organizational improvement.
• Strong background in data analysis, program evaluation, and educational leadership.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning and Organizational Alignment:
• Lead and manage the District's multi-year strategic planning process, including the development, implementation, and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Ensure school improvement plans and departmental goals are aligned with the District's strategic priorities, mission, and vision.
• Facilitate collaborative planning and stakeholder engagement processes involving staff, families, and community partners.
• Establish and maintain a cycle of continuous review and evaluation of strategic initiatives.
• Provide regular progress reports and data-driven recommendations to the Superintendent's Cabinet and Board of Education.
• Professional Development and Capacity Building:
• Develop and lead a comprehensive vision for district-wide professional learning that promotes instructional excellence and student achievement.
• Design, coordinate, and evaluate high-quality professional development opportunities for all staff.
• Integrate emerging best practices and innovative approaches, including: Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) STEAM Education Educational Technology Artificial Intelligence (AI)-Enhanced Learning.
• Build organizational capacity by supporting leaders and staff in implementing effective instructional and operational practices.
• Develop systems to measure the effectiveness, fidelity, and impact of professional learning initiatives on educator performance and student outcomes.
