Provide nursing care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or physician Implement patients’ plans of care based on diagnoses in a timely manner Integrate education, technical competence, and patient interaction skills to gain patient and family cooperation Exercise sound judgment and developed clinical skills Support department functionality by distributing supplies Perform equipment maintenance, testing, and setup as needed Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures Protect patient privacy and safety Perform specific procedures as assigned Orient other staff to the department when required Collaborate with peers and other healthcare providers to achieve departmental and corporate objectives Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of Vocational Nursing BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider LVN with Intravenous Therapy and Blood Withdrawal Certification on license 2 years recent relevant experience Demonstrated knowledge of basic nursing skills, various medical procedures, views, and equipment Ability to interpret data and instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology Written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences Well-developed time management and organizational skills Ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized operating procedures and scientific methods General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to identify, evaluate, and resolve standard problems using established options Ability to build collaborative relationships with peers and healthcare providers Core Competencies Demonstrates proficiency in nursing care, including the implementation of patient care plans, adherence to regulations, and collaboration with healthcare teams.
