This position is 2nd shiftResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to diagnose and repair equipment malfunctionsPerform routine & planned PM activities on designated production equipmentCoordinate with and assist contract service providers in completing complex machine repairs and startupsWork cross functionally with other maintenance personnel and departments to support production needsPerform all duties as assigned in compliance with company safety standardsQualificationsAbility to operate forklift, cranes, power tools, and other hand tools in support of troubleshooting and repair functionsAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, bills of materials, and other equipment related documentationAbility to organize, plan, and prioritize work with minimal supervisionAbility to clearly communicate, both written and verbally, details of a technical nature related to equipment issues and repair needsEducation and Experience: Associate's Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year or technical school and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
