Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in Florida
• Previous school-based OT or COTA experience strongly preferred
• Experience working with PreK-12 age groups
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary team environments
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy interventions for students, addressing fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student assessments and IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and additional support staff to support student goals
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Consult and provide recommendations to staff on classroom modifications and specialized equipment to facilitate student access and participation
• Attend meetings and contribute to student progress discussions as a valued team member
