Retail Engagement Specialist

Job Type: Regular Work Location: Market - AMRET - TX - Austin 87 Overview Join 2020 Companies as a Retail Engagement Specialist and play a key role in building retail partner relationships, increasing program visibility, and supporting business growth across your territory! Schedule & Compensation Schedule: Monday - Friday. Pay: $21 per hour plus 10% Monthly Bonus Opportunity. Requirements This position requires a personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening. This is a field‑based role where you will visit local retailers and ensure they understand how to maximize the value of the program. You will serve as the face of the brand in the field, building relationships, providing education, and ensuring a strong customer experience at each location. Responsibilities Visit retail locations within your assigned territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship‑focused manner. Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits. Provide on‑site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence. Place and maintain point‑of‑sale materials and branding in‑store. Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems. Work closely with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met. Day‑to‑Day The role is field‑based with daily travel within your assigned territory. Expect approximately 22‑35 retail visits per day depending on geography and scheduling. The mix includes in‑store engagement, driving, and administrative follow‑up. Work independently with strong support from leadership and training teams. Benefits & Perks No weekends. Comfortable working independently in a field‑based environment. Organized, reliable, and able to manage a daily route. Adaptable, professional, and customer‑focused. Prior retail, sales, field marketing, or customer‑facing experience is a plus. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Six (6) months prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience. Demonstrated knowledge of products and services. Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills. Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. at a time. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team environment. Ability to maintain customer confidentiality. Reliable transportation within assigned territory. Performance Measurements Meet or exceed quarterly visit goals. Meet or exceed weekly in‑store time goals. Visit multiple store locations on a daily and weekly basis. Effectively schedule store visits two weeks or more in advance. Effectively execute assigned activities inside each location during all visits. Effectively demonstrate an ability to establish and influence business relationships through merchant awareness, POP placement and consistent productivity. Record and maintain appropriate documentation for each visit.
