Property, Plant, and Equipment (PP&E) Specialist Controllership Manager

Position Summary Our Deloitte Finance Transformation team practices to help chief financial officers, controllers, and finance teams define and execute their finance and global business services agendas and strategies. You will work with leading-class teams and solutions, helping clients navigate challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to unlock value. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we partner with clients to transform finance. Work you'll do As a Project - Manager, Controllership on the Controllership and Treasury Transformation team, you will be responsible for: Maintaining property, plant, and equipment (PP&E) records by tracking acquisitions, transfers, and disposalsReviewing capitalization and expense treatment and performing reconciliations between the general ledger and property systems or trackersExecuting asset valuation and compliance activities, including depreciation reviews, valuation support, and audit request supportAssessing existing fixed asset policies and procedures and advising on updates or creation of new documentationSupporting client financial operations through fixed asset reporting, record maintenance, and issue resolution A successful candidate would possess these skills: Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsAbility to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanorAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to mentor and provide clear guidance to others The team Deloitte’s Government & Public Services (GPS) practice - our people, ideas, technology and outcomes - is designed for impact. The Project Delivery Talent Model is designed for professionals with specialized skills that align to a current client need. Team members focus on delivering services to clients, without additional expectations related to business development or promotion. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldActive Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph5+ years of experience with fixed asset or property, plant, and equipment (PP&E) tracking, valuation, and policy support2+ years of experience supporting Intelligence Community clients5+ years of experience with information technology invoices and purchase ordersAbility to work onsite in McLean, Virginia 5 days per weekMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future Preferred: Experience maintaining property, plant, and equipment records in a federal environmentExperience reconciling general ledger balances to property systems or asset trackersExperience supporting depreciation reviews, asset valuation activities, or audit requestsExperience drafting or evaluating fixed asset policies and procedures The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
