Job Opportunity

Position Overview

This is a local opportunity for a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse (RN) with a focus on providing quality care to patients. Applicants with scrub experience are highly preferred. The position requires availability for on-call duties and weekend shifts.

Shift Details

The role consists of 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The nurse may be required to be on-call and assist in responding to cardiac emergencies. Weekend coverage includes one weekend per month from Saturday at 6:00 AM to Monday at 6:00 AM.

This position may involve floating between various facilities located in the following cities:

• Milwaukie, OR
• Newberg, OR
• Portland, OR
• Hood River, OR
• Willamette Falls, OR
• Seaside, OR
• Saint Vincent, OR

Note: For floating to Seaside, an additional incentive will be provided for hours worked at that location.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience with a focus on cardiovascular surgery
• Experience in the administration of blood & blood products, cardiac monitoring, and various cardiovascular procedures
• Required Skills: Scrub experience in cardiovascular surgery, familiarity with Epic charting system, and knowledge of infection control protocols
• Current valid state nursing license (Compact license preferred)
• Must have a vehicle for transportation to various facilities

Special Requirements

Travelers may be required to float between sister facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment. This role necessitates commitment to work during the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. All requests for time off (RTO) must be made upfront during the application process.
