Description

• Conduct patient evaluations in both inpatient and outpatient environments and create personalized treatment strategies
• Implement physical therapy interventions emphasizing mobility, strength, balance, and functionality
• Work hand-in-hand with nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes
• Inform patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and at-home exercises
• Document assessments, treatment programs, and patient progress following facility and regulatory protocols
• Engage in care team rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure seamless patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Preferred CPR certification
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological or geriatric) are beneficial but not mandatory
