Job Description

• Craft Individualized Care Plans: Assess patient needs and develop tailored therapeutic strategies to help them reach their rehabilitation goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Utilize evidence-informed methods to boost patients' physical abilities, cognitive skills, and daily living tasks.
• Engage with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, integrated care.
• Educate Patients and Family Members: Provide teaching on therapeutic methods to ensure progress and empowerment beyond therapy sessions.
• Monitor and Record Progress: Keep track of patient outcomes and modify therapy plans to ensure objectives are met.

Education

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Continuing education and additional certifications are not only supported but encouraged.

Certifications

• Active OTR/L license
• NBCOT certification mandatory
