Emergency Department Clinical Nurse Sign on bonus $30,000 . Los Angeles, CA. Our client is a 370 bed hospital and is part of one of the largest and most successful hospitals in the United States, with over 30 hospitals in over 10 states. This hospital offers a level II emergency department, orthopedic care, advanced cardiac services, peripheral artery disease treatment and OB/GYN services in a caring and conducive environment. Responsibilities Responsible for the day to day management and coordination of all activities in the Emergency Department. Supervises and monitors performance of the Emergency Department staff. Interacts with the physicians, hospital staff, outside agencies, patients and patients families/significant other(s) to provide comprehensive care. Provides triage and treatment to pediatric, adult and geriatric patients seeking emergency care. Required Qualifications Current and valid CA registered nurse license. BCLS, ACLS, PALS upon hire and maintain. Previous critical care (ICU or ER) experience necessary. Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred. Two (2) years of Emergency Department experience preferred. Two (2) years supervisory experience in an acute care setting. Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
