• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• Certificate completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health and no current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health.

Additional Details: Required Credentials: Associate’s Degree in Related Field. OR Certificate in Radiologic Technology. Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted. Unit Details: Performs diagnostic general radiological procedures utilizing various imaging equipment to assist in diagnosis of disease and injuries. Administers IV, oral, and rectal contrast when appropriate, including venipuncture; screens for pregnancy and responds to adverse or allergic reactions. Reviews radiology orders, labs, patient history, and clinical data for exam completeness, accuracy, and medical necessity. Transfers and verifies image data in PACS and uses web servers and email systems to send exams for preliminary readings after hours. May be required to perform duties of other modalities within the department if licensed or cross-trained. Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation. Holiday rotation. Floating Requirements: Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations. May also float to Young Minds. Details: • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined. 7 days maximum time off.
