Field Operations Manager

We are looking for a motivated Business Developer to help expand our customer base, build strong business relationships, and support the continued growth of our company. Job Summary: The Business Development Manager is responsible for generating new business opportunities and growing the company's landscaping, irrigation, and grounds maintenance services. This role focuses on identifying prospective customers, building new business relationships, securing new contracts, and expanding the company's customer base. Responsibilities Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential customers. Generate leads through networking, referrals, outreach, and market research. Build relationships with property managers, HOAs, developers, general contractors, and commercial clients. Identify and pursue new landscaping, irrigation, and grounds maintenance contracts. Coordinate bids, proposals, and pricing with the appropriate team members. Track sales leads, follow-ups, and potential contract opportunities. Identify new markets and opportunities to expand company services. Coordinate with the Sales Account Manager to transition new customers into ongoing account management. Work with field operations to ensure new projects align with company capabilities. Monitor market trends and competitor activity. Work with company leadership to develop growth strategies and achieve sales goals. Qualifications and Requirements Previous experience in business development, sales, account management, or a related field preferred; experience in landscaping, irrigation, grounds maintenance, or a related industry is a plus. Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and organizational skills. Ability to generate leads, develop new business relationships, and pursue contracts independently. Proficiency with email, standard office software, and sales tracking tools. Self-motivated, dependable, and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with the ability to travel locally for customer meetings and site visits, as needed. Compensation and Benefits Base Salary: Competitive base salary, based on experience and qualifications.
