We are seeking a strong-minded, self-motivated Electrical Engineering Design & Project Manager who thrives in fast-paced, execution-focused environments. This is not a coordination role-we are looking for a driver. Someone who takes ownership, pushes through internal and external obstacles, and ensures projects are delivered on time and on budget.

The ideal candidate combines project management discipline with technical credibility, preferably with a background in Electrical Engineering. This individual will play a critical role in driving accountability across teams, managing vendors, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive project execution from kickoff through completion
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
• Identify risks early and proactively implement mitigation and recovery plans
• Drive accountability across internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders
• Lead project scheduling, tracking, and reporting with strong organizational discipline
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution
• Manage procurement activities and vendor relationships, including negotiation and lead-time optimization
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure technical alignment and feasibility
• Support design efforts where applicable, including working knowledge of electrical systems
• Contribute to process improvements and implementation of project management structure and best practices
• Assist in business growth initiatives, including customer development and new lead generation

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment
• Demonstrated ability to recover delayed or at-risk projects and deliver successful outcomes
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to hold teams accountable
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to operate with urgency, ownership, and minimal oversight

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience with PLC controls
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical
• Background in design and engineering collaboration
• Experience in procurement and vendor management
• Customer-facing experience with issue resolution and relationship management
