VETERINARY PRACTICE MANAGER

Employment Type: Full-Time Pay range: $73,395 - $106,016 annually. Pay may vary depending on experience, skill level, location, and schedule. This posting remains open for a minimum of two weeks from the posting date.

SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE AND FUNCTION

In partnership with the chief of staff, the Practice Manager manages daily operations so the medical team can focus on veterinary care. You will use practice management skills to drive business results and people leadership skills to develop associates and foster an engaging team environment. You’ll help ensure clients and patients have a positive experience and work with stakeholders across the organization to optimize growth.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND LICENSES

Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Three years related experience in health care, veterinary profession, or service industry, including direct supervisory experience (hiring, development, etc.).

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BANFIELD PRACTICE MANAGER

The position requires versatility. Duties include interviewing, hiring, developing associates, evaluating processes, and training associates on patient care plans and hospital services. Educating associates on Banfield guidelines and practices. Budgeting and planning for the hospital. Supporting daily operations and staff. Scheduling associates, coordinating time off, and managing continuing education needs.

COMMITMENT BEYOND QUALIFICATIONS

Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. A knack for problem solving. Conflict management experience. Leadership and analytical know‑how.
