Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) on a contract basis, you’ll work closely with students, parents, and educators to create individualized treatment plans that empower every learner’s voice. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders
• Valid Georgia SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt strategies to support diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting specific goals
• Provide direct therapy and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
• Maintain accurate records, document services, and participate in IEP meetings
• Educate and guide school staff and parents on strategies to support communication development
