ICU Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Location: Hudson, FL 34667 Pay Range: $33.00 $46.00 per hour (based on experience) Sign-On Bonus: Up to $25,000 Schedule Full-time Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team in Hudson, Florida . Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of critically ill patients. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders. Educate patients and their families about medications, procedures, and post-care instructions. Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions and progress effectively with the care team. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure timely posting of tests and examination results. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications Licensure: Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license (must obtain Florida license within 60 days of hire). Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience (MICU/SICU/CSU experience considered). Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire/transfer. NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required within 6 months of hire/transfer. Skills: Strong critical thinking, service excellence, effective communication, and computer proficiency.
