Accountant I We are currently seeking an Accountant I with 1-3 years of experience to be part of Streamline Technologies in our Winter Springs, FL office. Responsibilities Processing and entering daily financial transactions into the accounting system Assisting with routine journal entries and general ledger maintenance Logging customer receipts and payment details into project management software Preparing and sending customer invoices based on project manager inputs Communicating with customers regarding routine invoice questions and aging accounts receivable Recording incoming payments and maintaining accurate accounts receivable schedules Processing vendor bills, obtaining approvals, and maintaining vendor records Assisting with weekly accounts payable processing and preparing payment batches Communicating with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies Supporting monthly bank and credit card reconciliations Helping maintain electronic financial records and documentation Assisting in producing internal accounting reports as requested Providing support during audits by gathering requested documentation Identifying opportunities to streamline accounting processes Supporting customer operations by answering incoming calls, preparing customer invoices, and responding to routine customer requests Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounts receivable, accounts payable, or related accounting support role Proven experience with QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite ERP systems and an in-depth understanding of accounting principles Substantial understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and applicable regulatory standards Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, multitask, and know when to seek management’s guidance Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify trends Previous work with government customers or a government agency is a plus Comfortable speaking to others via phone, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis; we do not sponsor or take over employment visa sponsorship Benefits Competitive salary and an exceptional benefits package that includes comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with additional perks designed to support your well‑being and career growth.
