Restaurant Cook

RUSSO'S NY PIZZERIA & ITALIAN KITCHEN is seeking a Restaurant Cook to join our fun and fast paced team in Tempe, AZ. Position Summary As a Restaurant Cook, you will prepare high-quality food in a fast casual fast-paced restaurant environment while maintaining consistent portioning, presentation, and food safety standards. You’ll work closely with the kitchen team to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing great food, follows established recipes and procedures, and can stay focused during busy service. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portion sizes, and production guidelines Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper storage, rotation, and sanitation practices Support efficient kitchen workflow by prepping ingredients and assisting with station readiness during service Ensure food is cooked and handled safely, following temperature and hygiene standards Collaborate with teammates to meet ticket times, resolve order issues, and maintain consistent quality Required Qualifications Experience working in a kitchen environment in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting Ability to follow recipes, cooking instructions, and quality standards consistently Strong food safety and sanitation practices, including safe handling and storage of ingredients Reliable attendance and the ability to work full-time onsite in Tempe, AZ Compensation Hourly rate: $16 - $18 Free Lunch PTO #J-18808-Ljbffr Intuit Inc.
