About the Role

The Company is in search of a Senior Director for U.S. Public Affairs, who will be the senior leader in the organization for public policy, government affairs, and strategic external engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading an integrated U.S. public affairs strategy that is in line with the company's priorities and long-term growth goals. This role involves serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, anticipating and addressing emerging policy risks and opportunities, and ensuring that policy considerations are integrated into business decision-making. The Senior Director will also lead the U.S. public affairs team, build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and represent the company in various external forums. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 12 years of experience in U.S. public affairs, healthcare policy, or a related area, with a deep understanding of the U.S. healthcare system and legislative processes. The role requires a proven track record in developing and executing high-impact policy or advocacy strategies, as well as experience in engaging with federal and state policymakers and other healthcare stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree and experience in specialty medicines or complex therapeutic areas. Key qualifications include strategic judgment, executive presence, and the ability to influence and collaborate across functions. The Senior Director will be expected to demonstrate leadership in people management, communication, and the ability to operate with agility and integrity in dynamic environments.
