Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Cath Lab to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a Level I trauma facility, focusing on maintaining a sterile field and performing catheter insertions.
• Circulate within the Cath Lab for 10-25 cases per day, ensuring efficient patient throughput.
• Participate in required SIMs Lab for catheter insertion and central line dressing changes with a focus on patient safety.
• Perform call duties with a response time of 30 minutes, 6 to 10 shifts per schedule.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies for patient lifts, restraints, and wound care education.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, utilizing EMR systems such as Cerner and Xper.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Arizona, with BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Proven experience in Level I trauma or busy Level II trauma settings.
• Successful completion of dysrhythmia exam with a passing score of 80% or higher.
• Proficiency in Cerner EMR and Philips and Siemens equipment.
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and SIMs Lab required competencies.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.
