Quick Facts Location: Fredericksburg, VA Start Date: 05/05/2026 End Date: Permanent Shift: Flexible week-on/week-off schedule Hours/week: Full-time Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time Licenses/Certifications: Board-certified Neonatologist (required) Experience: Prior neonatal intensive care experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 Pay Package: Competitive salary discussed upon interview Benefits include: Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability coverage Flexible spending accounts (Health FSA & Dependent Care FSA) Health Savings Account (HSA) options 401(k) retirement plan with employer match Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available Voluntary benefits via payroll deduction What You’ll Do Provide expert neonatal care in a Level III NICU and newborn nursery Attend high-risk deliveries in collaboration with OB and perinatal teams Manage a daily patient census of approximately 9-11 neonates Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including neonatologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, and respiratory therapists Mentor and support NICU nursing and respiratory staff as patient acuity increases Develop and implement clinical protocols for neonatal care Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Contribute to the growth and strategic expansion of the NICU program What You Need Active, unrestricted medical license in Virginia (or eligible) Board certification in Neonatology Prior experience in a Level III NICU preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Commitment to patient-centered care About the Assignment Join a dedicated team in a modern facility in Fredericksburg, Virginia, providing comprehensive neonatal services in a supportive environment.
