Construction Surveillance Technician (CST)Join IDS International's National Security Services team supporting secure & mission-critical environments. The CST supports construction security operations within a cleared environment by controlling site access, monitoring construction personnel and activities, and documenting security-related findings. This role requires continuous observation of construction processes, communication with site leadership, and reporting of inspection milestones and incidents. The CST operates within an active construction site and is responsible for maintaining security compliance and detailed documentation of all activities.Key ResponsibilitiesControl access to the construction siteScreen and escort personnel, materials, and tools entering or leaving the siteMonitor construction workers and activities throughout assigned shiftsMaintain communication with the Program Manager (PM) and site leadSubmit daily reports and photographs documenting construction progressTrack and report status of security inspection milestonesProduce daily logs of all activities and eventsReport security incidents and anomalies, including counterintelligence concerns, to the SSMConduct inspections and provide inspection reports, including photographic documentationRequired QualificationsClearance: Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI-Poly) requiredCitizenship: U.S. CitizenAge: 21 years or olderEducation: High school diploma or GED equivalentRequired Experience:Experience using alarm systems, metal detectors, x-ray devices, and closed-circuit television systemsAbility to provide continuous surveillance of construction personnel and activitiesAbility to document screenings, findings, and security logsAbility to conduct inspections of secured and unsecured areas and materialsPhysical RequirementsMust be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, and move throughout secure facilities for extended periods of timePosition may require occasional lifting and/or movement of moderate amounts of weight, depending on assignment requirementsWork Schedule & ConditionsSchedule: Monday–FridayHours: Guaranteed 40 hours per weekOvertime: Overtime is a requirement for this contract and is based on client needs (40–50 hours per week)Compensation & Benefits Rate: $37.00 per hour + daily non-taxable per diem (MI&E and Lodging)*Bonus eligible*Benefits: Health, 401(k), PTO & Sick Leave, and Paid Holidays are available to all W2 employees of IDSQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status, and any other characteristic protected by federal, state, and local law.If you are unable to apply through the portal and need to speak to someone about necessary accommodations to apply, please email View email address on click.appcast.io and we will follow up with you.
