Per Diem Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Shifts available: 11 am - 11 pm or 3 pm - 3 am (FLEX)

Job Description

The Per Diem Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality care to patients in the emergency department. The RN will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver urgent medical care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients in the emergency department.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health records system.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient care.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 3 years of experience as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system.
• Current NJ Registered Nurse License.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
• Current ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Current PALS Certification.
• ATCN or TNCC certification required.
• Flu shot required.
