Data Management Coordinator II

The Data Management Coordinator II is responsible for identifying and resolving donor data discrepancies, modifying donor and patient records, coordinating workflow, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards. This role supports the American Red Cross mission by maintaining accurate data and mitigating risks related to donor and recipient information. Responsibilities Identify and resolve donor data discrepancies and duplicate donor records, including evaluating discrepant information to determine the appropriate resolution. Contact donors and third parties to resolve donor data issues. Modify donor and patient records, including applying and removing deferrals to donor records. Assist in coordinating the workflow of the area, including daily production operations and information requests, to ensure tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Mitigate regulatory, donor and recipient risks by ensuring team meets all compliance guidelines and timelines and implementing solutions to ensure and improve quality. Requirements High School or equivalent required. Minimum 3 years of related typing/data processing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Ability to work on a team. Intermediate level computer skills with Microsoft Office applications in a windows environment are required. Good verbal and written communication and customer service skills required. Must be detail oriented; possess strong organizational skills and the ability to process data with speed and accuracy. Some travel may be required.
