Job Description Job Description POSITION SUMMARY The Project Accountant’s primary responsibility is to support the project team regarding client invoicing, payments, reports, and any other duties related to the project. Accountants may occasionally travel to project sitesfor job review meetings. This position reports to the Senior Project Accountant. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Manage all accounting related functions for assigned projects. Assist project teams with any questions or needs related to the accounting department. Manage invoices, payments, and compliance for assigned projects. Understand compliance requirements for assigned projects. RESPONSIBILITIES Process vendor invoices accurately using commitments and within assigned timeline. Process subcontractor AIA G702/G703 invoices accurately and within assigned timeline. Collect and track compliance documents. Generate reports including Labor, Contract Status, and Job Cost. Input owner billings in Timberline. Job cost report modification. Other related duties as assigned or needed. QUALIFICATIONS Associate or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or similar business degree. Minimum 2 years prior experience working as a Construction Project Accountant or Bookkeeper. Proficient in data entry, accounts payable, accounts receivable and vendor payments using job cost subcontract and purchase orders. Strong communication skills. Key competencies are Communication, teamwork, initiative, and dependability. TECHNICAL SKILLS AIA G702/G703 Microsoft Office Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate Procore Advanced data entry, 10 key by touch, and typing skills Salary is $55,000 to $75,000 depending on experience.
