Admin & Bookkeeping Assistant

Location: Woburn, MA
Job Type: Full-Time (Part-Time considered for the right candidate)

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Admin & Bookkeeping Assistant to support our day-to-day financial and office operations. This role focuses primarily on accurate data entry into QuickBooks, along with light administrative support.

This is a steady, low-drama role ideal for someone who is organized, consistent, and takes pride in keeping things accurate and up to date.

Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping Support (Primary):

  • Enter credit card transactions into QuickBooks.
  • Input vendor bills, utility bills, and expenses.
  • Maintain accurate categorization and records.
  • Organize receipts and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with month-end preparation.

Administrative Support (Secondary):

  • Answer and route phone calls (low volume).
  • Provide general office support as needed.
  • Assist with basic coordination and organization tasks.


Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of administrative or bookkeeping experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks (or similar accounting software).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Organized and dependable with good follow-through.
  • Comfortable handling routine, repetitive tasks.
  • Professional and courteous communication skills.


Nice to Have (Not Required):

  • Experience with Salesforce or CRM systems.
  • Experience working in a small business environment.
