About Misericordia Home Misericordia Heart of Mercy is a home to over 600 children and adults with mild to profound developmental disabilities. Misericordia offers a community of care that maximizes potential for persons with mild to profound developmental disabilities, many of whom are also physically challenged. Summary The AM Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care to residents within an assigned residential area. This role works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team—including administration, nursing, QIDPs, programming staff, environmental services, DSPs, and CNAs—to ensure continuity of care, regulatory compliance, and a safe, supportive living environment. The Residential Supervisor oversees daily unit operations, staff performance, scheduling, and service delivery while modeling Misericordia’s mission and values. Qualifications High School Diploma required. Minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Demonstrated professionalism, maturity, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage staff with fairness, consistency, and impartiality while supporting a diverse and inclusive workplace. Ability to work collaboratively with administrative staff and interdisciplinary teams. Ability to provide direct care to residents. Ability to remain on feet for extended periods and conduct frequent rounds throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted and more than 40 lbs. with assistance; ability to safely operate mechanical lifts. Ability to manage high-stress situations effectively. Ability to maintain a professional appearance and positive body language to support a welcoming environment. Reliable attendance and flexibility to work weekends and some holidays. Certified Medication Passer or eligible for certification. Proficiency in required Misericordia software systems (e.g., AWARDS, ADP, Infinitec) and basic computer skills including typing, documentation, and data entry.
