About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its mission of social justice, with a focus on advancing racial equity and empowering women. The CEO will be responsible for strategic leadership, fostering a culture of philanthropy, and ensuring the organization's financial sustainability. This role requires a deep commitment to the principles of anti-racism, a proven track record in fundraising, and the ability to lead a diverse team with emotional intelligence and a strong sense of community. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' of executive leadership experience in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and a background in social service work, particularly in areas such as domestic violence, housing, or related fields. Key responsibilities for the CEO include leading the organization in its long-term strategy, innovation, and community impact, as well as maintaining relationships with local partners and public officials. The successful candidate will be a compelling communicator, both in representing the organization to external stakeholders and in fostering a transparent, inclusive, and accountable workplace culture. They will also be expected to work closely with the Board of Directors, staff, and community partners to ensure that the organization's goals are met and that its values are upheld. The CEO will be a trusted public ambassador, engaging in advocacy to promote the organization's mission and working for systemic change in line with its goals of racial and gender equity, housing stability, and economic justice.
