UnityPoint Clinic is a physician-led, nonprofit health care organization offering comprehensive services in primary care, walk-in care and specialty care. The clinical teams at the area’s clinics are improving outcomes, lowering the number of hospital readmissions and reducing avoidable costs associated with treating chronic conditions. • PRN to assist with additional coverage for vacations, leaves, and access

• Concierge urgent care model

• Clinic open 8am-8pm x 365 days per year

• No call requirements

• Work with experience staff

• No appointments necessary

• Fully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination

Responsibilities

• Coverage to be provided Waterloo, Cedar Falls, Waverly, and Marshalltown Express Clinics

• Provide medical treatment for minor illnesses and injures

• Excellent assessment skills

• Work in a fast-paced environment

• Provide high quality care to all ages

• Offers select diagnostic tests (x-ray, lab, etc.)

• Prescribe treatment, refer patients for follow up care, and educate patients

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate

• Board Certified

• 1-2 years of experience preferred

• Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of IA

• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice

• Eligible to work in the United States
