Legal Assistant

Confidential Law Firm | San Diego, CA

Hybrid Schedule (3 Days In Office Per Week)

Salary: $85,000 - $95,000

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a confidential law firm to identify an experienced Legal Assistant for its growing San Diego office.

This position supports attorneys and paralegals in a busy litigation environment and is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional with strong California court filing experience and exceptional organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, revise, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence
• Electronically file documents in California state and federal courts
• Calendar court deadlines, hearings, depositions, and litigation events
• Maintain and organize electronic case files and litigation documents
• Coordinate service of process, records requests, and document productions
• Schedule meetings, depositions, mediations, and attorney calendars
• Assist with document management, scanning, filing, and administrative litigation support

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Legal Assistant experience in a litigation environment
• California litigation experience required
• Experience with California state court e-filing required
• Familiarity with federal filings and PACER preferred
• Strong proofreading, grammar, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with NetDocuments is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000

The final salary offered will depend on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days in-office days per week. Additional in-office attendance is required during onboarding and training.
