Underground Laborer

We have a full‑time need for an Underground Laborer. The Underground Laborer places cables in trenches, splices conduit sections as directed, and supports crews, supervisors, and project managers to complete tasks in a timely manner. What you will do: Assist in the loading/unloading of equipment and materials. Use a variety of tools and equipment to dig. Install different types of underground utility pipes. Operate heavy machinery. Uphold the mission, values, and safety protocols of GridSource. Travel to different job sites as required. What you will need: High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in the broadband industry required.Working knowledge of construction, the National Electrical Code, OSHA regulations, state and local regulations, and general safety standards. Ability to reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch; occasional lifting and carrying of loads up to 95 lbs. Management reserves the right to assign or reassign functions and responsibilities at any time.
