Homebuilding Manager

Job Description

A developer is seeking an experienced Community Manager to oversee day-to-day residential construction operations. This role involves managing site teams, ensuring high construction standards, and coordinating cross-functional efforts to maintain project timelines and deliver a quality product. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly detail-oriented, and brings a proactive leadership approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure construction meets all project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with sales, design, and HOA contacts
Lead and develop all on-site construction personnel, vendors, and office support
Oversee the condition and appearance of active job sites, with a strong focus on safety and presentation
Manage build schedules
Identify potential cost issues early and implement corrective actions
Foster positive relationships with homeowners and internal teams

Qualifications & Experience:

Proven experience effectively managing and mentoring construction teams
5+ years of residential construction management experience
Solid understanding of residential construction practices and building code compliance
High attention to detail and independent problem solving skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree required
