Role Description

The Commercial Roofing Estimator and Sales Representative is a full-time role in Tampa, FL with regular field work. It performs on-site roof inspections and assessments, documenting conditions with photographs, measurements, and drone imagery, and builds estimates for repairs, restorations, maintenance programs, and re-roofing projects. The Estimator is expected to know what actually happened on the jobs they sold and to price the next one better because of it. The role attends pre-bid meetings and site visits, runs takeoffs using commercial estimating software, presents proposals to owners, property managers, and general contractors, and follows every open estimate to a decision. Business development is core to the seat: referrals, direct outreach, trade shows, and industry associations including BOMA, CAI, and IFMA, some of which meet after hours. Because ConstructoMax self-performs installation and fabricates its own sheet metal, this role sells work the company controls, and what is sold is what gets built.

Qualifications

Commercial construction experience is required and candidates without it will not be considered.

• Five or more years in commercial roofing or commercial construction estimating or sales.

• Working knowledge of commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, built-up, metal, and coatings.

• Proficiency with commercial estimating edge software, Microsoft Office, and CRM tools.

• Demonstrated ability to develop new accounts and close work independently.

• Valid driver's license with an insurable record.

• Essential functions include climbing ladders and walking commercial roofs safely in Florida heat, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• OSHA 10 or 30 certification, Part 107 drone certification, and existing account relationships are all a plus.
