We are a primary care practice with three providers seeking a dedicated, reliable, and compassionate

Front Office -MedicalAssistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage a high call volume, and provide excellent patient service while supporting both administrative and clinical workflows.

Schedule:

• Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM

(No weekends)

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Duties:

• Schedule patient appointments and manage calendars
• Verify patient information, insurance, and demographics
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Handle phone calls, patient inquiries, and follow-ups
• Process referrals, prior authorizations, and lab results

Clinical Duties:

• Room patients and obtain vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, etc.)
• Accurately enter patient information, histories, and vitals into the EMR system
• Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness and infection control standards
• Administer injections, medications, and perform basic lab procedures as permitted
• Collect and process specimens (blood, urine, etc.)
• Perform EKGs and other diagnostic tests as required

Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant certification preferred or equivalent experience
• Previous experience in a primary care or high-volume medical office preferred
• Strong multitasking, organization, and communication skills
• Comfortable handling a busy phone system
• Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR system. ECW a PLUS!
• Professional, dependable, and patient-focused
• Must love dogs — we have a friendly furry office pet
