Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compound IV medications, including IVPBs and TPNs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Manage and fill Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets efficiently.
• Deliver medications promptly to nursing units and respond to pharmacy-related inquiries via telephone.
• Utilize the Allscripts/Paragon order entry system to process medication orders accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to support optimal patient care.

Desired Experience:

• Proven inpatient pharmacy technician experience is essential.
• Skilled in making IVs and proficient in handling Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets.
• Familiarity with order entry systems, specifically Allscripts/Paragon.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Shift Details:

• Night shift hours: 9:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Schedule: 5 consecutive days on followed by 5 days off
