Payroll Manager

Full processing and management of the company payroll processes; weekly and bi‑weekly payroll for approximately 30,000+ employees. Oversee the payroll invoicing process as it relates to the company’s managed properties. Effectively manage transitions in and out of the company’s portfolio. Work with Payroll Director and BSD team on system issues. Generate ad hoc and custom reports on a monthly basis for the accounting team. Manage the payroll team, working with the Payroll Supervisor to balance workload, ensuring timely completion of work with minimal overtime. Develop staffing plans and establish work schedules; prioritize team workload to maintain service levels. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering their professional growth and development. Manage and report on key performance indicators and metrics. Maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise in current applicable payroll laws and regulations. Network with peers and seek to be informed about emerging trends and issues, best practices, etc. Encourage teamwork and a collaborative attitude. Perform other duties as required. Regular and reliable attendance. Education/Experience Bachelor’s (B.A./B.S.) in Business or related discipline and two to four years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Physical Demands Typical office environment. Noise level is moderate. Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g., the associates may be required to communicate with English‑speaking customers or co‑workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English). Ability to work independently with little or no supervision. Prior supervisory and management experience. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Ability to study, analyze and interpret complex information in order to improve practices or develop new approaches. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Extensive knowledge of working within UKG.
