Payroll Supervisor

Vaco is seeking a Construction Payroll Lead in Phoenix, AZ

Responsibilities include:

• Lead and develop a team of two payroll specialists, including coaching and performance management.
• Manage full-cycle payroll processing for a designated region.
• Review and post payroll-related journal entries.
• Ensure compliance with certified payroll reporting requirements.
• Maintain and update certified payroll rate tables and supporting data.
• Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Partner with field teams to resolve and prevent timekeeping errors.
• Review payroll support tickets to ensure timely and accurate resolution.

Requirements:

• High volume, multistate payroll experience (Required)
• 3-5 years of end to end payroll with supervisory experience (Required)
• Strong understanding and experience with construction payroll (prevailing wages, job costing, fringe calculations, union payroll, etc.)
• Previous experience in LCPtacker, eMars, AASHTOWare, or other relevant CPR software experience
• Ability to go on site 4 days a week
• Salary $85-95k
