Baker and Packager Associate

Position Summary Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for our members by following recipes, wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise. You will juggle multiple tasks efficiently while assisting members with bakery orders. This role requires maintaining a fast-paced work environment, strong customer service skills, and a commitment to food safety and sanitation. Responsibilities Team Collaboration: Work with other associates to build a strong bakery team, communicate effectively, and support each other across the business. Production: Operate baking equipment, follow recipes, wrap, label, and store merchandise while meeting food safety, sanitation, and inventory standards. Technology Utilization: Use handheld devices to make real‑time decisions about production, ordering, training, and product quality. Operational Excellence: Maintain work area cleanliness, adhere to quality and date control standards, eliminate waste, and package merchandise properly. Customer Focus: Provide exceptional service, greet members, answer questions, and assist with purchasing decisions. Compliance: Follow company policies, procedures, ethics, and standards, and use the Open Door Policy for continuous improvement. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Completed all required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a bakery or food preparation environment. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds. Positive self‑drive and problem‑solving ability. Location 8340 W McDowell Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85037-4101, United States of America Compensation Hourly wage range: $18.00 to $26.00. Additional compensation may be included in the form of premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
