CNC Machinist
A well-established precision machining and tooling environment in the Toledo area is adding experienced CNC machinists to their team.
This is a direct-hire opportunity within a smaller, highly skilled shop supporting tooling, fixture, and custom-machined components for automotive and commercial manufacturing applications. The team is seeking machinists who enjoy hands-on setup work and precision machining rather than production-only environments.
Qualified candidates will have experience working with CNC mills and/or lathes and be comfortable reading blueprints, making offsets, and supporting setup-level machining work.
Responsibilities
- Perform setup and operation of CNC mill and/or lathe equipment
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Make offsets and adjustments as needed
- Machine precision components to specification
- Support tooling, fixture, and custom machining projects
- Work collaboratively within a small-team machining environment
Preferred Experience
- CNC mill and/or lathe setup experience
- Job shop, tooling, or prototype machining experience preferred
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Experience working to tight tolerances
- Familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Okuma, or similar controls is helpful
- Tool & die or fixture machining experience is a plus
