CNC MACHINIST/SWISS TRAINEE - 2nd Shift

CNC Machinist Swiss Trainee
We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Machinist to join our team on the day shift. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 35 years of hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC Swiss-style lathes, specifically Citizen L series and A series machines. We are ready to move quickly for the right individual with a solid work history, strong skills, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC Swiss-style lathes (Citizen L and A series)
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders
- Ensure parts meet quality specifications and tolerances
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines
- Work independently and efficiently on off-shift schedules
- Monitor production and adjust setups as needed to maintain quality and efficiency
- Collaborate with team leads or engineers on production improvements
Requirements:
- Minimum 35 years of recent experience in CNC machining, willing to train on Swiss
- Proficient in setup and operation of Citizen L series and A series machines
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Reliable work history with a proven track record of good attendance and performance
- Must be able to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
- Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience on additional CNC platforms or multi-axis machines
- Familiarity with inspection tools and quality documentation
