Swiss CNC Machinist 1st shift

Swiss Machinist – 1st Shift (Cleveland) Work Model: Fully onsite role performed at the designated Regal Rexnord office. Hours are 1st shift. Pay Range: $29 – $35 per hour + $2,000 Hiring Bonus. Benefits begin on day one, including 401(k) with match and paid time off. Key Responsibilities Configure, set up, and operate CNC Swiss machines to meet tight tolerances and surface‑finish requirements. Read and interpret blueprints, operation drawings, and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing principles. Utilize Mitsubishi controls to load, adjust, and execute machining programs. Perform in‑process and final inspections using precision gauges and measurement instruments. Support production through tooling changes, machine adjustments, and troubleshooting activities. Document work accurately, follow established procedures, and collaborate across the team to maintain smooth operations. Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental goals. Education & Experience 3–5 years setting up and operating Swiss CNC lathes (required) and/or Citizen machines. Demonstrated proficiency with GD&T, CNC tooling, and troubleshooting. Experience with Mitsubishi controls; ability to read and edit programs (G‑code/M‑code). High school diploma or GED; strong math and blueprint‑reading skills. Effective communicator who follows written and verbal directions, team contributor. ITAR Registered and able to meet applicable compliance requirements. Physical Demands & Environment The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 35 pounds and stand 100% of the day. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision. The work environment involves exposure to moving mechanical parts; noise level is usually minimal to moderate. Reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities.
