Step into a rewarding school-based Speech-Language Pathologist role in the greater Sarasota-Bradenton area, where you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with diverse needs. This full-time contract position offers a dynamic environment across two school sites, each with supportive and experienced colleagues and innovative leadership.

In Parrish, you’ll collaborate with a newly appointed, visionary principal, supporting students in two low cognitive units and one behavioral unit. Expect a direct therapy caseload of approximately 50 students plus consultative support for an additional 10. At the West Bradenton location, you’ll join a strong team that includes an experienced SLP and an outstanding part-time SLPA. This site features a variety of specialized classrooms, serving intensive and integrated Pre-K, ASD, low cognitive, and ESE PK classes, with a combined caseload of about 95 students among therapists.

Ideal candidates will bring the following qualifications:

• Possess a valid FL SLP license
• Previous experience in school-based settings, particularly with low cognitive and behavioral units, is highly valued
• Ability to work on-site across two campuses
• Comfortable managing caseloads that include both direct therapy and consult students
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering direct speech-language therapy to assigned students
• Conducting assessments and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Consulting with staff and families to support student success
• Maintaining thorough and organized documentation
• Participating in team meetings and contributing positively to school culture
